In 2018 we held the inaugural conference at the University of Surrey with support from the Doctoral College, who are keen to support FUTURESEX. We asked the following questions: What are the futures of sex, gender and sexuality? How were these futures imagined in the past?

60 delegates from undergraduate to professor, from 12 countries across the world, and from a range of academic disciplines attended.

Our keynote speakers were Prof Katherine Johnson (University of Sussex) and Dr Kate Lister (Leeds Trinity).
