FUTURESEX | WITNESS

We were thrilled to be joined by an incredible list of individuals representing institutions and projects running in the UK around archiving and making space for histories and futures of sex, gender and sexuality. The event was a fascinating and wide-ranging discussion of these issues. Guests speaking were:

• Stefan Dickers - Special Collections and Archives Manager of the Bishopsgate Institute

• Kirsty Fife - academic researcher, activist and archivist focused on DIY spaces and culture

• Joseph Galliano - Co-founder and CEO of Queer Britain

• Kit Heyam - academic researcher, activist, trans awareness trainer (previous work includes the rainbow plaques project and with the V&A)

• Florence Schechter - science communicator, comedian and founder of the Vagina Museum

• E-J Scott - Curator of the Museum of Transology and speaker including with Tate Britain
